The Start

Hello! My name is David and I had this random idea for 2024. I spend a LOT of time looking at Excel sheets and analyzing data as a financial analyst and I had a sudden thought.

Wouldn’t it be cool to have the data from a disc that travelled throughout the USA? I tweeted it, the followers were interested and away I went.

 

I have an idea for 2024. Not an original idea but something I want to try and think would be pretty cool. Of course it involves #discgolf and a nerdy Google Sheet. Anyone want to participate when I have it figured out?!

I created a signup form and tweeted it out. Within a day I had 25 willing participants.

It was exciting to see all the areas of the country this disc could potentially travel to. Some of the best courses were mentioned including Maple Hill, Northwoods Black and more!

All of us exchanged emails, settled on some details and then we needed a disc. We chose the Thought Space Athletics Pathfinder.
